All ten of the paid up member clubs were represented at this meeting, as well as the Breed Health Coordinator (BHC), Breed Education Coordinator (BEC) and elected Officers with 4 observers being present.
Editha Newton gave an update from the Breed Liaison Council regarding Racing and Lure Coursing classification at non-Breed Club Championship Shows and also revisiting the set criteria for Special Beginners.
The Clubs had considered whether to have one unified judging list but it was felt by the time this was actioned the new system would be in place.
It was proposed and seconded that we could have one unified judges application form that could be used and circulated for Club’s to consider for their own lists.
Treasurer George Poole had provided a report, forecast, and current financial statement and this had been circulated before the meeting.
The Breed Health Coordinator and Breed Education Coordinator gave their reports which will be available to see on the BC website and FB page.
The WOTY event will be held on Saturday 4th January 2025 and a social event added. Invites are already going out and being shared on Facebook. Entries to open in April.
The new website had been launched and lots of ideas shared about extra content which can be added.

We discussed an online events programme for the winter months and lots of ideas were shared.
Election of Interim Vice Chairperson took place. Congratulations to Ann Beckett-Bradshaw.
2024 is the Ruby Anniversary for the Breed Council. Ways to celebrate to be thought about by member Clubs.
