Our Dogs is the last remaining weekly newspaper for dog people and also runs this prestigious points competition throughout the year, every year.
There are categories for Top Dog, Top Puppy, Top Breeder, Top Stud Dog, and Top Brood Bitch, and a points system that can be found online each year sets out how it is calculated. The Top Dog and Top Puppy points are awarded for wins at Championship Shows (General and Breed) and are therefore achieved by winning under a variety of judges.
